Kitt hissig. Ultramørkebrun. Uklar. Lavt skum med litt farge. Blir raskt film. Aroma av bourbon & karamell. Smaken treaktig. Lønnesirup. Litt nøtter. Tørr avslutning. Hint av vanilje i avslutninga.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Beige head with good retention over a mahogany coloured body, clingy lacing. Attractive smell of toffee and oak. The taste profile follows suit with toffee-caramel, oak, and a backdrop of dark fruits. Rounded roasted long lived, and warming finish with a bourbon touch. Full bodied. Perfect slow sipper on a Saturday afternoon. (Tromsø, 03.02.2024).

Halifax Beer Festival 2023. Dark hazy amber sipper. Very sweet, and much more of a barley wine in style than the said American Brown. There's certainly some dark maltiness in its aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear deep brown, thick beige head. Aroma of bourbon, oak, toffee. Taste is dominated nicely by the bourbon, oak, toffee, dark fruity malts, a little vanilla, a bit of alcohol warmth. A lovely smooth BA beer, hard to really tell it was a Brown Ale but I'm not complaining.
