This Belgian-style pale ale is our vision for a light, flavorful, refreshing, and lower alcohol Belgian-style ale. We use the addition of coriander seeds and two different kinds of orange peel to add complex citrus notes to the spicy fermentation character of our house Belgian yeast.

Tiny bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry floral, yeast, flowers, banana, hay, minerals, bubblegum, light malts, dried fruits, candied sugar. Taste is slightly dry floral, weeds, bark, yeast, flowers, hay, grass, citrus peel, minerals, banana. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh and watery mouthfeel. Boring.

Very Belgian yeast driven hoppy nose. Light body, light bitterness tons of yeast. So quaffable and refreshing. Interesting b-pa. Nice without being outstanding

12 ounce bottle. Honey gold color topped by a moderate mousse-like beige head. Fragrant tangerine aroma with coriander notes. Light bodied with fruity notes. A touch of Belgian yeastiness adds an earthy character. Complex spicy notes in midtaste. Citrusy hops in finish. Reminds me of a milder version of Duvel.

This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated nice and quick. Lacing was messy.
The smell started off with sweet bubblegum up front and then subtle Belgian spices sliding into some sweet citrus. And then some bitter citrus hops try to make an effort to balance.
The taste is dry and sweet through the bubblegum. Citrus shows a decent flavor. Dry citrus/bubblegum aftertaste. Quick dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good.
Overall, nice Belgian pale ale. I’d have again.

Bottle thanks to my wife stephrocks: Poured a hazy yellow orange with white head. Aroma is soft hops, Belgian yeast esters. Taste was more esters, hops, and spicy finish.

Bottle. Pours a near clear peachy gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of clove and Belgian yeast with some sweet grains and a touch of grass. Flavor is also clove forward with some sweet grains and a bit of grass supporting.

12 oz. bottle purchased at 7 Eleven, Kittery ME. Mildly hazy gold in color with very soft carbonation level. Aroma is mellow Belgian yeast, straw and citrus peel, pleasant.

Flavor starts off with the orange peel and provides pale grains and good fruit flavors. Body is lighter with notable coriander seed toward the finish. Notes of banana ester’s. Light with a reasonable refreshing quality. A decent lower ABV of Horny Devil.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Hazy orange, thin fizzy tan head that quickly fades. Aroma of bready malt, yeast, spice, bits of citrus. The taste is yeast, bread, coriander, spice, lemon, orange. Medium bodied, almost still, lingering spice. Decent.
