Deep amber with a frothy head. Caramel aroma. Toast. Dank. Taste is sweet up front, bitter and grassy at the back. A bit earthy. Medium bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. I like it.

Small if stable off-white head over amber beer with very fine carbonation. Toast, caramel - the hot Steins working. End smells half-dry with autumn leaves and bread. Toast, again those light-bitterish leaves, and the finish bready. Generally, the taste is sweet all the same, caramelly. Medium bodied, very slick to oily feel. Soft carbonation, little bit sticky. Interesting - the nose really speaks about the brewing method. Txs to Stef!

Bottle from Great Grog. Hazy amber body with a beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts and honeyed malt. Flavour of brown bread and dried grass. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Simple and inoffensive.

I have found this beer at Tanta Emmen, Paris. Drinking it in my hotel room at Paris gare de Lyon. For me, this is classical but it was a good surprise, on the way of a Vienna lager, malty and metalic, not too metalic, smooth with notes of nuts, hop, 16.10.2021

0,5 bottle. Amber color. Caramel aroma and mainly caramel flavor. Balanced with hop ,not overwhelmingly sweet. Curious to try another Steinbiers.

Pours hazed amber, surprisingly dark to me. Stable creamy white head of average size. Scent is caramel, bock-like rich malty notes. Quite inviting, Taste is full, caramelly, crunchy malts, still very bock-like to me, but with high drinkability. Dark bready notes. Creamy body with a fairly low carbo. This is particularly enjoying, though it's not super hype-able by any means. But as a random, cheap German beer, this is a pretty neat one !

Bottle. This is a great, wonderful beer. In a land of a million pale ales, it’s really nice to have something different. Cloudy amber color with a great foamy head. Aroma is very well balanced. Grains with hints of fruit and nuts. Taste is very complex. Nutty, grains, perfectly sweet in a very subtle way. Really good.
