Cask at the Victoria Station JDW. Pitch black with loose beige head; aroma of malty chocolate; soft and creamy in the mouth with red fruits and sweet malts; the finish is dry and warming with richly roasted malts and a touch of dark chocolate. Really enjoyable.

Cask, handpump at The Regal, JDW, Cambridge 15.02.12 Viewing this half pint from inside this cavernous โ€™Batcaveโ€™ dingiliy lit pub it looks dark brown. Soft in the mouth, sweet maltiness, easy going roastiness, little bit thin but overall a very likeable and decent beer. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.5

Cask-conditioned at the Euston Tap, 10/02/2011. Jet black with a thin tan head. Sweetish aroma of chocolate and cereal malts with a salty edge. Savoury malt flavour, slightly dense and chewy, with bitter chocolate and the soy mentioned by others. Different.
