330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 10.0%. Deep golden to amber colour, floaties in the glass. Moderate white head. Moderate aroma of piney hops and dusty malts. Medium sweet and alcoholic flavour, with loads of piney hops. Not a favourite of mine.

Bottle. An orange colored unclear beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Sugary, piney aroma with lemon zest, some grapefruit and a touch of resins in the aroma. Sort of boozy too, both in the aroma and flavor. It’s full-boded, semi-sweet and lightly warming on the palate, with lots of piney, resiny flavors and some sugary, pale malts. Bitter. Lasting warming and bitter finish with grapefruit and pine cones. Perhaps a bit too much on the bitter and boozy side this one, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 160504

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with yeast flecks floating below a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of cheesy hops, pineapple and pine. Flavour of honey, pine and grenadine. Medium body with sticky mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Overly sweet and sickly - a big disappointment considering how good the 2014 version was, and the brilliance of Axe Edge.

05.02.2015, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry concentrated grassy, leafs, hops, pine needles, moss, dried fruits, lawn, citrus peel, bark, alcohol. Taste is slightly sour-ish concentrated grassy, weeds, leafs, sour grass, minerals, citrus peel, sugar, dried fruits, hops, pine needles, alcohol, bark. Longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle from SIPS at PP over Settlers of Catan. Clearish deep copper amber pour with frothy head. Aroma is verrrry malty - like the mash aroma from brewing it's so malty. Some floral hops too but not that appealing. Taste follows. Super malty and bready. Not that bitter - though some resinous hops in the background. Very disappointing. Worse than the normal Axe Edge for sure.
