1/3pint, draught, sample tray at Foundry Brew Pub. Shared with Finn. Crocheted lacing from a decent white head, almost clear amber-gold body. Inviting floral fruity nose. Spiced fruity flavours, grassy hops, and a mild touch of farmyard. Drying close, malt-fruity. Pleasing. (Canterbury 11.02.2023).

Delt med Rune. Lys gylden. Litt uklar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Nydelig kniplingslacing. Lett krydderaroma. Smaken som aromaen. Tørr, jordbæraktig avslutning. Bitter.

Cask @ The Foundry. Unclear orange body with a nice off-white head. Pleasant aroma of hay, flowers and perfume. Flavor is mild malty, spicy, fruity and floral. Fine balanced body with a delicate aftertaste leaving just enough bitterness at the end. A truly fine and style appropriate Saison.

Bottle at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Ian. Pours clear yellow with a fine, white foam head. Dry straw aroma, dry lemon, citrus rind. Light sweet flavor with heavy bitter grass, straw, citrus rind, florals, dry dough. Light in body with fine carbonation. Very dry to finish with hefty grassy bitterness, straw. Good and grassy, floral, some dirt.

Bottle at ChrisO tasting, thanks to Ian, 30/12/12. Hazed light golden with a thin white film and frothy white bubbles at the extremeties. Nose is farmy, soured fruits, grass, spice, touch of apricot and orange, quite acrid - great ! Taste follows, bitter and soured fruits, apple, apricots, orange, grassy, farmy, funky. Medium in body with soft carbonation lending towards a bitter dry finish. A most decent saison, probably the best I recall drinking from a UK brewer !
