This dangerously drinkable Vietnamese coffee stout starts with an assertive roasty bitterness from the dark malts which quickly gives way to a smooth rich dark chocolate and hazelnut finish.

From cask, third at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Brewery Bars. Shared with Finn. Off-black body, filmy layer, clingy lacing. Coffee up front on the nose, lightly roasted. Malt-driven taste of nuts, chocolate and chocolate. Rounded roasted malty finish. Well bodied. Decent stout. (2nd day of the festival 23.01.2020).

Cask at the Picaddilly Tap, Manchester. Black pour with a beige head. Dark chocolate, oodles of coffee in the nose. Taste is dark roast coffee-lots & lots of it, more dark chocolate. Lovely!

Canned, 500 ml, shared with Max. Black with beige head. Nice coffee aroma, malty, roasted, coffee, dark chocolate, bitter finish. More creamy less carbonated mouthfeel would be nice. Medium bodied.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Black-brown coloured with a light-brown creamy head. Quite a smooth tasting brew, it has fuller tasting roasted malts fused with a nuttiness.
