Petit Mardi, French for ‘Small Tuesday,’ is a small batch release in an even smaller format. In the same vein as 2021’s Portified Black Tuesday, this decadent imperial stout was aged in oak puncheons and carefully crafted with Petite Sirah grapes and Syrah grapes. Sip, savor, and enjoy.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 27/03/2025.
Pitch black with a fast escaping khaki head.
Nose is full on port barrel, molasses, brown sugars, plummy notes, hint of chocolate.
Taste comprises figgy jam, light vinous strains, fruit cake mix, raisins,
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid BA impy with a good Port angle ... just needs the sweetness paired back to be a great. Slips down easy for the big 15% mind!

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a reddish black with a small, rough, reddish head. Super complex berry aroma paired with oak. Super rich body, completely flat and excessively sweet. Whatever roastiness there ever was is completely drowned in sugars and wood. Very complex and cloyingly sweet. Think of this as a fortified wine to go with a dessert. 120325

Near opaque purple tinted dark brown beer, small bubbly bruised purple colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Big okay barrel character, dry oak, vanilla oak that isn't that sweet on the overall scheme of things. Rich dark chocolate, powdery dry, big ripe grape vibes, both white and red port. Bruised berry fruits and a good ripe white wine cum Port thing. Smooth and semi dry finish. It's easy to get old and cynical about stuff these days and, I am certainly both! This Bruery brew keeps me fresh in the beer world and reminds me that beer has the near infinite capacity to throw a curve ball at you. This Bruery beer does that with abundance. Super duper!

Bottled 12.7 fl oz (PBF XIV)
Dark red colour, not much head. Sweet aroma on red grapes and red wine. Full-bodied. This is really really portwineous. Sweetness, red wine, warming feeling. Not very beery but portwine is good.
