0.33 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before June 2026. Clear, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately grassy and a bit fruity-floral aroma of grains, straw, some lemon peel and a touch of honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly malty, a bit grassy and minimally fruity-floral taste of grains, straw, traces of honey and hints of lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very bland beer, why not make a Vienna lager instead?!

Bottle picked up from a Globus, Plattling and consumed at home Thursday 25th April 2024 doing some swatting for an A2 German exam and preparing Pork and Lemongrass Meatballs with Noodles. Pours clear gold with a large white head, it's almost sparkling. This is an interesting beer, if I were blindfolded and told to determine what style this is I honestly wouldn't have guessed at first, that said I actually like it. It's got a pleasant sweetness throughout, there is a little vanilla here, it's got a solid maltiness but it's also a very more'ish' beer. Serving it in the glass that comes with this pack could fool you into thinking mmmhhh... Belgian blond appearance, but of course the absence of Belgian yeast characteristics and slightly lower abv rules that out, but yes I say hand on heart I would not necessarily have guessed Märzen.

0,33 l bottle. Clear golden, one finger head. Grassy aroma. Taste starts Pilsenerish, then switching to a more Hells as expected. Some bitter hop, some caramel, some grain. Easy drinker.
