Bottle, 9.5%. Dark coffee and bitter chocolate aroma. Very dark brown colour. Small fizzy light brown head. The flavour is sweet and peppery. Has some cocoa powder in the finish, a little like Limfjordsporter. Peppery aftertaste. Dark sugar and alcohol.

330ml bottle. Opaque, dark brown colour with small, frothy, fading, off-white to tan head. Yeasty fruity and sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, notes of dried fruit, raisin, plum, a touch of date, fig, dark honey. Taste is sweet, caramel malty, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, notes of dark honey, caramel, dried fruit, mainly raisin, some cherry, plum, a touch of black pepper; well hidden alcohol.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite sweet, but overall mild, homogeneous, round, not overly complex, though - pretty nice.
