From can at MB2 15.02.26. Cloudy mahogany. Beige head. Aroma and taste of medium dark malt, toffee and canned fruit. Not too bad. Fine mouthfeel for such a low ABV.

Can from Gulating Christmas calendar. Nice malt flavour but unfortunately there is also a lot of vegetable flavours. This is a brewing fault and normally not valid for every batch, don’t know if I will have the opportunity or interest of try this at another opportunity so this is my score for this time.

YG 030324. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is malt, dried fruit, toffee, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is malt, dried fruit, toffee, bread, coffee, chocolate, caramel. OK/Ordinary beer.

Can. An almost clear brown beer with a small dark beige head. The aroma has some toffee and dark dried fruit, with roasted malts, hints of coffee and chocolate, and a touch of that kveik yeastyness. It's medium bodied and quite softly carbonated. Semi-dry, with a gentle bitterness. Bready, almost doughy maltyness, caramel and some toffee, chocolate and a touch of dark dried fruit. Medium length finish. Not sure if kveik was the the correct yeast to use here, or perhaps just the wrong kveik. Or maybe it needs more alcohol. Anyway, not my kind of beer. 240303

Uklar brun med boblete, tykk topp som varer. Aroma; malt, lakris, karamell, kveik. Smak; karamell, sjokolade, kveil, hint av kaffe og plomme. Godt balansert, smakfull, middels lang ettersmak.

330ml can, 23 264, boughat at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. A bubbly, fawn coloured head over a deep, dark brown body, crocheted lacing. Quite inviting smell of dark malts and dried fruits. Balanced taste of caramel malts, prunes, and soft fruity kveik yeast. Rounded malt-dark fruity finish. Well made Yuletide version. (Tromsø, 16.12.2023).
