Til dette ølet har vi brukt betre norsk malt: Pilsner malt frå Jæren Korn og Malt og vår eigenutvikla Special Kinn frå Bonsak Gårdsmalteri i Nord-Trøndelag. For å rette smaken og fylden har vi også brukt mørk kandisirup og cassonadesukker i vørterkokinga. Dette ølet er bryggja på Vesle Kinn med open gjæring og flaskemodning.

Amber with off white head - Malt and some dark fruity tones in the aroma - Malt body with some caramel flavours and some fruity tones with a yeasty hint - Malt and caramel flavours goes into the finish - This was nice

From bottle after yule tide beer tasting 09.12.23. Hazy pale mahogany. Aroma and taste of medium dark sweet malt, herbs and vegetables.

YG 151123. Copper color wit a beige head. Aroma is spices, dried fruit, sugar. Flavor is spices, fruit, dried fruit, sugar, bread, caramel, nuts. Nice beer.

Bottle, 33cl. An unclear copper colored beer with a beige head. Some curtains. The aroma is quite spiced, with a generic fruityness and some dried fruits. Caramel, toffee and some brown sugar. Leafy and lightly nutty. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry on the palate, along with a gentle bitterness. Bread, caramel, dark dried fruit, generic fruityness and some light toffee in the flavor. A nutty touch and a light fruity sourness too. Medium length finish. A bit dull, feels like there's something missing, most likely from the yeast. 231115

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Tiny off-white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass, hazy orange-reddish body. Promising smell of dried fruits and almond. Quite similar taste of dried fruits, almond, and a note of syrup. Mid-sweet malt-fruity finish. Fits the season. Decent brew. (Tromasø, 14.10.2023).

0,33 flaske fra VP Verksgata, i sol- og lesekroken i le for fønvinden: lett uklar brunlig kobber med fint skum som varer i mitt vakre Orval-glass. Beskjeden aroma og forsåvidt greit smak av karamell, brunsukker, gjær og ristet brød. Tynn maltkropp for en dobbel, og den ufriske ettersmaken har dessverre også et innslag av skuffelse.

330 ml bottle, as Kinn Haust Belgisk Dubbel, from Vinmonopolet Odda. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy brown colour, large off-white head. Moderate aroma of malts and brown sugar, hints of yeast and wood. Soft mouthfeel. Woody and yeasty flavour, "unfinished", hints of brown sugar, but not too sweet. Minimal hops. Not entirely successful.

Bottle @ home. Unclear/foggy reddish golden body under a dense tan head. Aroma is mainly on the malty side, with hint of bread and caramel, not strong in aroma. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, brown sugar, yeast and hint tea. Medium body and average to short aftertaste. Feels a bit weak compared to an average Belgium dubbel, miss the typical complex sweetness and some more body. Easy drinkable, easy forgotten.
