Bière de Coupage is a blend of young and old beers. This blend consists of:
90% 10 months old mixed fermentation (brett, sacch) saison from our oak foeder, dryhopped with Motueka.
5% 24 months old mature sour beer from a white wine barrel.
5% Fresh saison.

Bottle @ gunnfryd. Unclear golden body under a white head. Aroma is funky with lemon and wood, some spicy yeast. Taste is pale malt, acidic refreshing, lemon, citric fruits and wood. Very nice.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, brett, yeast and citrus. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long brett, citrus and malty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 75cl, at Bryggerifestivalen. It pours a white head over an unclear yellow body. Funky and fruity aroma with a Saison-ish, peppery, yeasty backdrop. Some alcohol and a touch of pale malts. Brett notes. It's full to medium bodied and dry on the palate, pleasantly carbonated, with a suitable bitterness. The flavor has a touch of lemon, else it's the same fruity experience as the aroma. Lightly funky, Bretty, with some peppery yeast, citrus and grass. A gentle touch of pale malts serves as a foundation for all the aforementioned. Lasting fruity finish. A pleasant one indeed, refreshing, easy drinkable and quenching. 240802

Draught, Monkey Bar, Bryggerifestivalen 2023, third day. Remaining white head, hazy pale golden body, dotted spots on the glass. Promising saison fruity aromas, hints of farmyard. Mid-dry fruity flavours, mandarin, joined by farmyard and grainy malts. Woody dry ending with a little tartness to it. Pleasing to a certain degree. (Trondheim, 05.08.2023).
