Can, best before March 16, 2028, drunk November 23, 2025, as pictured.
Smells the part, with rich chocolate, light fudge, mild roast and mild dark fruitiness. No alcohol, excess sugar, overabundance of roast.
Nice and malty with a good chewiness to it, but ample attenuation. Caramel, chocolate, mild roast and hints of vanilla. This is nicely-conditioned and exhibits no punchy sugar (or little of it), despite its youth. Always been a fan of Haand Bryggeriet. Nice to see they are still making great beer.

Can 330ml @ Sommerhuset. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Roast and booze. Some black coffee and a little perfume. Pours black with some mocha head, but doesn't last long. Bitter end with some boozy sweetness. A little on the boozy end. Tap at Churchkey.

33cl can bought at MS Color Hybrid from Sandefjord to Strömstad. Pours close to pitch black with a moderate, tanned head. Roasty aroma with dark chocolate, dark, dried fruits and hints of coffee. Smooth, flavourful and quite enjoyable.

Svart med brunt skum. Lukter engelsk laktis og noe sjokolade. Middels fylde. Noe mer salt lakris i smak, også blomster og kakao. Middels lang. (Grûnerløkka Mikrobryggfestival 2023)

200ml draught at Ølhallen. Deep black body, filmy layer leaving upper part lacing on the glass. Inviting aromas of roasted grainy chocolate. Well blended flavours of caramel, black chocolate, and liquorice offset by traces of dark fruits. Roasted bitter ending warming down the swallow. Full bodied. Lingering sipper qualities. Like it (Tromsø, 21.07.2023)

Can, at the brewpub. A bit gushy, producing a creamy two finger light tan head over a black body. Nice curtains. The aroma has alcohol, roasted malts, oats, coffee, some dark chocolate and hints of dark dried fruits and nuts. It's full bodied, warming and softly carbonated. Some roasted malts kind of bitterness. Roasted malts, cocoa hints, some dark chocolate, licorice and oats in the flavor, with coffee bitterness. Lasting finish. A bit warming and intense, but sure nice. 230516
