100% Belgian Grape Ale. Collab between Winery Monteberg (Heuvelland) and Bourgogne des Flandres (Bruges). 26% grape most from 4 grape varieties: Solaris, Sieger Rebe, Kerner and Pinot Gris. 4 grains: Barley, Wheat, Spelt, oats. Dryhopped with Nelson Sauvin to add thiols with similar flavours as the grapes. Sparkling dry, subtle acidity, with a little funkiness. Refermented with champagne yeast.

Pours unclear amberblonde. Scent is elderflower, bit funky. Taste is sharp, tart. Loud on the elderflower, much milder on the grapes, actually. More loud elderflower than the eldeflower lambic I had besides, even.

15/I/24 - 75cl bottle @ Syntra Zytho class (Ghent), BB: 15/V/26, bottle N° 1767 (2024-36) Thanks to my students for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale yellow blond beer, small aery irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive, dissipates immediately. Aroma: pretty dirty up front, very funky, lots of sulphur, spicy, a little herbal, sourish, rotting fruits, lemony, weird. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: soft acidity up front, floral, diacetyl, buttery, a little bitter, funky, rather dirty, sulphur again. Aftertaste: fruity touch, gentle acidity, funky, little peppery, dirty finish, bleh. Pretty bad.
