Grab a Trail Pass and start a new adventure with miles of flavor. Explore the hoppy notes of citrus and pine from Amarillo® and CTZ varieties in non-alcoholic Trail Pass IPA. The silky malt body and clean hop bitterness are just what you’d expect from a world-class Sierra Nevada IPA, yet it’s less than 0.5% ABV.
With Trail Pass IPA we captured the iconic citrus and pine explosion that you expect from a Sierra Nevada IPA, all without the alcohol. Hit the trail with the hoppy aromas and let the smooth maltiness wash over your taste buds. It's like a hike through a hop forest.
“It meets all of our criteria for what we would consider a craft IPA—not necessarily even a craft non-alcoholic IPA, but a craft IPA,” says James Conery, Innovation Brewmaster at Sierra Nevada.
Trail Pass uses traditional brewing methods, not alcohol removal, to create full craft flavor below the 0.5% ABV non-alcoholic threshold.

Can. A clear golden colored beer with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is citrusy, piney and fruity, with a grassy touch. It's quite thin on the palate, as expected, semi-dry and softly carbonated. Grapefruit, pine cones and grassy notes in the flavor. Some pale malts. Medium length finish. A decent non-alcohol beer indeed. 241231

12 ounce can from Niemuth's, 3/12/24. Clear gold, large white head, average retention. Aroma of grain and green hops. Some mint. Taste is green, minty hops, pale bready malt. Crisp. That mint is a bit off-putting (and no I didn't just brush my teeth). OVerall a nice NA. 22000th beer!

6 pack canned 7/4/24, drunk fresh-to-not-as-fresh, most recently on 11/5/24. Clear, pale, brassy-blonde. Frothy, white head, modest retention. Hint of metal with grassy, lightly fruity, mildly piney hops and some sweat. It's got slightly above-average hopping for a hoppy NA beer and doesn't smell like wort. Grainy, seltzery, but not worty with a hint of soft, sweet malt on the very end, alongside fruity, grassy, mildly piney hops. Fairly clean. Above average bitterness keeps it crisp and refreshing. About the quality you'd expect from Sierra Nevada...clean and well-executed and middle of the road on hops and malt.
