With Trail Pass IPA we captured the iconic citrus and pine explosion that you expect from a Sierra Nevada IPA, all without the alcohol. Hit the trail with the hoppy aromas and let the smooth maltiness wash over your taste buds. It's like a hike through a hop forest.
“It meets all of our criteria for what we would consider a craft IPA—not necessarily even a craft non-alcoholic IPA, but a craft IPA,” says James Conery, Innovation Brewmaster at Sierra Nevada.
Trail Pass uses traditional brewing methods, not alcohol removal, to create full craft flavor below the 0.5% ABV non-alcoholic threshold.

Can from Meny drunk at home 07/05/2025 Medium sweet hoppy and malty, light citrusy fruity notes, pine, light to medium body, bitter hoppy finish. Not bad AF action.

Pours clear gold into a pint glass. White head with medium retention recedes to nothing. Hay and tangerine aromas. Crisp with sweet tangerine, hay and earthy pith front to back. Not bad.

12 oz can from a 6 pack at Kroger. Canned 12/03/24. Enjoyed during my 6th annual Marcg Madness event. Among many other things, only NA Brews for a full month. Always fun to do this each year, as there is always a new array of options that have come out. I'm late to the party this year though, as I'm already a full week in and this is my first brew. Nice grassy, hop pellet nose. Crisp taste up front, woth a cool orange and grassy follow. Very refreshing within the style. Easy drinking, and if I was thrown a beer and wasn't paying that much attention, I might have been fooled on this one for a minute. Overall a solid product. Glad I have 5 more of these for racing tomorrow.

Single from the Mills River beer fridge. 8/15/24 stamp isn't great. Pint glass at home. Clear, glassy, pale gold. Voluminous, sticky, soap scum head. Herbal, slightly buttery, faded medicinal nose. Crispy, bittersweet grapefruit bite, grassy, lingering white onion bitterness, just a twinge of of Aspirin & dirty earth. Fizzy, frothy, somewhat acidic. Kinda okay.

Light gold pour. Thin foam around the rim. Grass and hay flavor with floral and bread notes. Light bodied and light carbonation

Can. A clear golden colored beer with a small, dense, white head. The aroma is citrusy, piney and fruity, with a grassy touch. It's quite thin on the palate, as expected, semi-dry and softly carbonated. Grapefruit, pine cones and grassy notes in the flavor. Some pale malts. Medium length finish. A decent non-alcohol beer indeed. 241231
