Now there's some art on that can. Boy oh boy. I'm thinking Kobayashi, Mizoguchi, Kurosawa, Inagaki, Leone, Sakai, Miller and so -oh! so many more... Anyway: 44 cl can at La Abadía, Madrid, Spain. A very hazy honey-hued pour with a thick, mostly lacing, snow-white head. Aroma is, as I usually say, the usual suspects: arugula (rocket), dandelion, grass; bitter lemon, quince; earth. Slightly sweet onset (lately DDHNEIPAs are giving me that vibe, and I want it to fade away.) Medium (not full) bodied, slick, not so bitter (but bitter.) I don't know what to make outta this. I like it as an ale, but as a (let me grasp some air) a DDHNEIPA? Are you aiming onto newcomers who want to brag they started not on lagers but on easy ales? If this is the case, no sir, no can't do. And this is becoming a trend, and not a good one, IMHO. No bueno (and even so I like this Citra Ronin a lot: 4 outta 5.)

On tap at tales of ales in Athens. Pours a very hazy straw-ish yellow, small head that has great retention. Aroma is very hoppy, loads of pine and lots of citra-heavy citrus. Medium to full body. Flavour is malty and super smooth. Sweetish, great malt base with a little caramel, very hoppy with loads of pine, lime, lemon. Delicious, really great citra showcase and a well made NEIPA.
