20/10/2024. Can bought at GS25, Gwangalli Beach, Busan. As Altan Gobi The Mongol. Nice to find a Mongolian beer in South Korea, though was only stocked in one of the dozen or more convenience stores visited in Busan so maybe doesn’t sell well. It was pretty much as expected aroma and taste wise, grainy, corn, sweet malts, a little citrusy and veggie. Medium sweetness and bitterness, a bit metallic and stewed. Moderate body, average carbonation. Forgettable beer but nice to try.

330ml bottle (I think) shared with blackhaddock in his beer cave. Clear pale gold, good white head. Grassy herbal nose. Taste is grainy, herbal, a little thin and a touch harsh with metallic shades but fine overall and actually better than expected.

Bottle, 450ml? Brought back from Mongolia by a friend and share with her husband at my place on 13th February 2023. Clean and clear golden body, short lived white crown. Grainy nose and taste, a bit 'grassy' and 'gassy'. Nice tick!

450ml bottle from TBS in Moscow. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is grain and slightly buttery. Taste is light sweet, malt, grain and butter, light bitter finish. Reminds me of ex-USSR beer from regional breweries. Not bad.

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for sharing this beer! The beer starts fresh and nice. Smooth and grainy. Not much depth, easy to drink, fresh, round. Nice typical lager with not much bitterness.

Can, 0.50l, courtesy of Antonio. Pours clear deep straw with medium frothy white head, nice lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of cereals, cooked corn, dust and some grass. Taste starts moderate sweet grainy with sour grassy following, mild spicy mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and average carbonation in palate. Not worse than majority of Euro lagers...
