Can at Palace Hall 07/09/2024 Malmö September tasting - lots of opulent chocolate, cocoa nibs, caramel and fudge like malty sweetness, full bodied, bourbon chiming into the lingering sweet and roasted malty close. Can, 14%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, barrel, oak, little dark fruit and a little vanilla. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, barrel, dark fruit, sweet, vanilla and a little bitter.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small tidy dark tan head. Smooth palate, viscosity obvious, still has good fine carbonation punching through. Wonderfully rich dark malts, good dark malt creamy dark chocolate. Soft espresso in the mid. A sumptuous Bourbon and Cognac soaked fruits, particularly Cognac, tastes like fine Cognac. Smooth rich chocolate coffee creamy barrel aged loveliness finish. Super duper. Rich, viscous, properly tasty and properly grown up.
