Bottle at home. Pours clear gold, fizzy, with a soft, white head. Nose holds some sharp, sugary grains. Flavor has some faint cereal, light sweetness, faint metal, very faint, floral bitterness. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean but a bit bland. More light cereal and mild straw and floral hops, but not enough sweetness. OK beer.

500ml can plucked from the depths of a random supermarket in Paris’ 11th arrondisement, labelled as containing 5% alcohol. Pours with a boring yellow body but plenty of decent head. Aroma of malts, alcohol, and boot leather. Taste is mostly grains and malts, not a bad mix, surprisingly drinkable. Modestly watery finish. Okay for a bottom shelf cheapie.

Bottle, 100cl, courtesy of MiP. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, white head. Grainy and fruity nose, quite decent but gives me nothing. The same can be said about the flavor, where some bitterness ensures a decently interesting flavor. Medium body, quite dry. Sure a drinkable beer, quite decent for a pale lager acutally, but uninteresting. 090821
