Hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 10th May 2024. Nothing pink or moonie about this clean golden bodied beer with it's white crust on top. Light malty base with an even lighter hop content with hints of citrus and resinous pine, but not enough to get excited about.

500ml bottle from local shop. Clear golden colour, white foam head and aroma of grain, hops. Taste is malty, grains, bicsuit, caramel, fruity, with mellow citric bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle. Lewis and Cooper Northallerton. Says it’s a New World Pale. It’s not really. Pretty malty and slightly buttery. Some slightly sharp leafy hop. Bittersweet overall. A bit flabby. Sharp bitterness to finish. Standard stuff.
