BIAB at Petersgate Tap, Stockport. Pours near clear orange gold with minor opaque bubbles. Aroma: apple, apple flesh, some caramel. Taste: light sharp, tart, apple flesh, caramel, mild funk, moderate to heavy tannins. Dry on the palate. A bit rough around the edges, scrumpy-ish. Medium body with low carbonation.

Sample thanks to Danlo. Pours a clear varnished gold. Aroma of rich caramel. Flavour profile of varnish, tart woody ripe caramelised fruit with a whiff of alcohol coming into view, interesting Kingston Black SV.

500ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Clear orange gold colour with reddish tinge, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, fleshy. Taste is tart, sharp, apple flesh, fruity, with some core, woody funk and bittersharp tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable
