Oh yeah that’s good stuff. Big and rich, sweet but not quite cloying. Rich maple, roast, toasted marshmallow, boozy bourbon, layered chocolate, raisins. Thick, lightly chewy. Warming finish, more bourbon, burnt toffee, dark fruits, gooey chocolate. Hearty and still rather drinkable.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Opaque black brown beer, small but tidy bubbly dark tan head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine carbonation, fine for this brew. Overall, this a light drinking 17%+ beer! Smooth dark malts, soft but rich espresso coffee, a little unsweet but creamy dark chocolate. Inevitable alcohol spice in the mid. Evident but not overdone maple. Smooth alcohol spicy finish. Very drinkable, could spend an evening with this and just keep supping away!

Jet black with dirty tam head. Chocolate, coffee, molasses, vanilla, maple syrup, boozy bourbon, boozy fruit, hint of coconut. Delicious boozy chocolatey impy. Well balanced. Great!

Tap @ Peders. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, light maple syrup, vanilla and heavy bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry finish with heavy alcohol. Oily and boozy. 211123

Tap @Peders at the rear end of the Transient TTO. Black, oily, small tan head. Rich dark malty aroma, vanilla, bourbon and mild maple syrup. Sweet boozy flavour, rich dark malt, mild coffee, vanilla and maple syrup. Quite some bourbon heat in here, just barely balanced. Full bodied, lasting boozy finish. Seriously dangerous at 17.5%...
