Spotty white head on a clear dull golden coloured body.
Jam, stewed fruit & woody aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back.
Oaked, jam, stewed fruits, herbal & faint citrus tastes.
Quite enjoyable.

Bottle on the train to Manchester, picked up from HOTM online, 04/10/24. Clear golden blonde with an off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is funk, stale bread, chardonnay twang, tannins, herb, lemon rind. Taste comprises damp oak, grape must, barrel twang, vinous, hedgerow, pissy green berries, light acidic tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light puckering bite. Solid kit.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced via HOTM. Pours clear pale gold with a small, ready white head. Light sweet flavour, some baking soda vibes, vague floral and grassy qualities, faint pale wood dryness. Light to medium bodied with delicate carbonation. Fairly clean to finish, lightly minerally, a nip of lemon peel, faint acidity. Decent overall.

Near clear gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, a light sweetness, slightly grainy in a natural way. Nice creamy Chardonnay. The nettle and dandelion are minor factors but add interest. Light and semi dry finish. Really quite winey is this brew, very Chardonnay to be specific. Interesting brew.

Bottle shared at tasting. Golden color, small white to off-white. Aroma and flavor are...well...weird...vineous and lightly tart. Very weird. Hard to describe. Not a success imo.
