Can at The Beagle, Sproughton, Ipswich. Pours golden with an average sized frothy white head. Aroma is of hop, grass, citrus, malt and lightly toasted. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Light to medium body, slight oily and watery texture, average to soft carbonation. Not bad.

Can on the train. A bit of a wishy washy lager and I would be hard placed to separate this from the industrial lagers in a blind taste off. It’s a lager and there is not much to say, apart from having no urge to drink it again.

330 ml bottle at The Wild Boar, Aberdeen. ABV is 4.6%. Hops are Perle and Hallertauer Tradition. Extremely pale straw colour, white head. Strong aroma of newmown grass. The flavour is slightly sweet with some bittering hops. Not great.

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an ok carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Malty, mild citric and herbal flavor. Decent beer.
