Hazed dark color with a fine thick off white head. Good lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a smooth carbonation level. Easy to drink. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Dark malt, chocolate, mild roast, grapefruit hoppy, pine and fruity flavor. Yummi.

Sampled from tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Hazy, dark brown to black with a light beige head. Fruity-grassy, slightly roasty aroma of tropical fruits, pine and some dark chocolate. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity and a little roasty taste of tropical fruits, pine and dark chocolate, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter and slightly resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Pours somewhat dirty dark brown, surprisingly white foam for that colour. Bready roastiness and nice fruity hops blending. Taste is nicely creamy and has this herbal/fruity hop character that goes beautifully together with the roasted black bread feel that the beer has. Easygoing and decent, very drinkable BIPA. Feels lighter than it is.
