Bottle @ Café DeRat, Utrecht. Black with a big beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and dark chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Didn’t catch any brett, but a good beer none the less. 150425

37,5cl Fles. Zwarte kleur, lichtbeige kraag. Veel chocolade, brownie, vrij droog, iets leer en hint van rook, Brett is vrijwel absent of het moet de hint van bessen zijn. Heerlijke droge stout in ieder geval. Lichte tot medium body.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 31.01.2027) im 2024-07 getrunken. Dieses schwarze Sour Ale kommt mit seinen Röstaromen wie ein saueres Stout daher. In der Nase ist eine leichte Raucharoma zu entdecken. Am Gaumen zeigen sich neben dunkler Schokolade auch ein rotes Beerenaroma. Ein spannendes Ale!

Bottle. Color: Black, firm light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, chocolate, leathery funk hints. Taste: Very dark chocolate, roasted malt, earthy, subtle leathery Brett funk. Dense and smooth malty body. Lightly creamy. Dry-ish mouthfeel, very dry almost powdery finish. Moderate bitterness going to medium bitterness at the finish. Moderate to over moderate sweetness. A really nice Keeping Stout.
