This lager poured a nice amber colour with a minimal, white head. Sharp to the nose, scents include vegetables, hops and light vinegar. First swig was pretty good with flavours of hops most prodominant. Finish is bitter with grassy/spruce flavours lingering.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, cracker, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, cracker, biscuit, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of citrus/pine hops and bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Nice clean lager flavor with minimal yeast esters present. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly crisp/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid IPL style. Good robustness and balance of citrus/pine hops and bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Amber in colour, with a decent, white, head and slight carbonation. Big, citrus, hop aroma with a sweet edge. Hop dominated in the mouth too, leading to a moderately bitter finish. This beer could have done with some more, balancing, malt character, but was pretty good overall.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a large foamy off-white head. Average head retention. Aroma of floral, citrus hops and mild caramel. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, gummy bears, mild caramel malts. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness. Decent.

smells like candy and some form of citrus. very bitter, not a good beer. I can’t really explain it. lots of grass, piney notes, some paint thinner and mouth wash. clove and so freaking herbal.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus and fruit. Very light aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is citrus and light stone fruit, and a touch of light treacle. Finishes lightly fruity, lightly bitter and lightly exciting. Or not exciting at all. How this is under Imperial Pils blows me away.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet butterscotch malt with light herbal hops. In mouth, a sweet cloying malt with light grassy hops, mineral notes, boring.

smells like strong dull ipa. medium rocky head. from a bottle. quite strong personality at first but it seems to mello just a tad after the first gulp. decently good co2 for a highly hopped brew. medicinal finish. seems like more than 6%, does not hide alky well.
