0.33l bottle. Aroma of wheat, grass, spices, flowers and dandelion syrup. Pours cloudy dark golden color with thin creamy white head, fair lacing, yeast residue and sparkling appearance. Taste starts mild sweet grainy and refreshing citrusy, following is yeasty, faint peppery and grassy, mouthfeel is smooth but crisp, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Not Blanche enough…

330ml bottle from Carrefour thrown in the trolley on the weekly shop. Pours a misty blonde, white head. Refreshing, but a little average for a blanche, modest spicy presence, modest yeast, but generally fine.

Bottle from super U at Saint Agnan. Color: Hazy golden,white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, yeasty, citrus fruit notes. Taste: Wheat malt, yeasty, coriander, orange and some orange peel. Hoppy backbone. Quite smooth body. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Slightly sour.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di frumento. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido appare opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si riportano sentori di miele, frumento, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso e agrumi.

Can 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a lacing, white head. Slightly tropical fruitiness in the nose - not a hoppy fruitiness though. Medium bodied, again fruity and somewhat phenolic. Slightly bitter finish. Not a great example of the style. 060924
