Bottle from super U at Saint Agnan. Color: Hazy golden,white head. Aroma: Wheat malt, yeasty, citrus fruit notes. Taste: Wheat malt, yeasty, coriander, orange and some orange peel. Hoppy backbone. Quite smooth body. Medium body, average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Slightly sour.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano impressioni di frumento. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido appare opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è pronunciato e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si riportano sentori di miele, frumento, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso e agrumi.

Can 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque golden with a lacing, white head. Slightly tropical fruitiness in the nose - not a hoppy fruitiness though. Medium bodied, again fruity and somewhat phenolic. Slightly bitter finish. Not a great example of the style. 060924

Uit een flesje, gekocht in Reims. Heel licht troebel. Geelgoude kleur, wit schuim. Moutig aroma. Niet echt een uitgesproken witbier, mis de citrus. Wel fris, redelijk.
