In the early days of Struise, Pannepot had a few different versions. Pannepot (regular) / pannepeut (slightly less rosted malts) , Pannepot Reserva (aged on wine barrels), and pannepot Grand Reserva (aged on wine + calvados barrels) . Other barrel types ( such as Port) were released under the 'Pannepot Special Reserva' brand.
Over time, things have gotten a bit less clear, and now special versions have also been released as Pannepot Reserva, whilst some red wine barrel aged versions have been released under 'Pannepot Special Reserva' .
We - The Belgian Admins of Brewver - have decided to keep this entry only for the Wine BA versions of Pannepot. Either marketed as Reserva or Special reserva (essentially the same beer, different batch). If you happen to know the specific barrel (which was sometimes stated, but not always) you can rate that as a batch here. For other versions ( Bourbon BA, for instance) there's another entry.

33 Bottle. My rating # 19.000. Pours nearly black with a small beige head and lacings. Deep vinous nose of dark dried fruit, wood, tobacco, red wine, chewy caramel and chocolate. Super complex and intense. Taste is similar. Slick and a gentle warmth and tannins. Amazing.

33cl bottle at tasting, thanks VastActiv. Poured brown in color, white head. Wood and red wine notes, vinous with dark fruits, lots of raisins and some boozy aspects. mixed feelings. Too woody now.

Bottle at Arde's residence, Helsinki. Color is reddish brown with small slightly brownish head. Aromas and flavours: Vineous elements, red berries, some sourness, wood... lots of wood.

330ml bottle. Dry, oaky, woody and slightly stingy with some tartness, plum, raisins, vinous berries and earthiness. Okay.

Diep geroosterd, fruitig als port, zuur en houterig als een oude eiken regenton. Zoet, klef en alcoholisch. Brettig zuur randje - expres of niet? Balsamico. Druivenresten. Rode wijn. Boozy roggebrood. Tasty AF. Duister gedrocht. Genietertje.

Dark brown with a short lived tan head. Aroma of fudge, caramel, overripe dark fruits, fruit cake and light alcohol. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Taken age pretty well this one.
