From tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2018. Lots of vanilla and roasted malt in the aroma, with chocolate, caramel, some mocha, and more vanilla. Bittersweet flavour with a medium to full body. Pretty tasty vanilla Stout, delivers as promised.

Bottle. Pitch black body under a small beige head. Aroma has roasted dark malt, licorice, smoke, vanilla and coffee. Taste is super smooth, sweet, dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla and nice balancing alcohol. Perfect body and long lasting aftertaste. A very nice imp. Stout with a modest pastry hint, surprisingly well integrated alcohol.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of toffee, dark chocolate, dark caramel, hints of coffee. Taste is sweet, dark and caramel malty, slightly roasty, notes of toffee, dark caramel, dark chocolate, hints of burnt caramel, coffee, some vanilla, liquorice root, bitter hoppy counterpart with a minimally touch in the finish. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, fine, minimally prickly carbonation. Good balance of sweet- and bitterness on a high level, very explicit toffee notes. Good.

A very nice and pretty sweet stout. Lots of pastry-esque flavours, without going there that much. Sweet chocolate, smooth vanilla, a hint of creamy coffee. Fairly boozy with a lovely mouthfeel. Rich, very desserty, and damn tasty.

On tap at lstofa Kormks of Skjaldar, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma reveals notes of vanilla beans upfront, followed by roasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of vanilla upfront, followed by light roasted malt. This is a vanilla bomb. Heavy palate, but it works pretty well. Fun, though rather one-dimensional impie.
