Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of straw, spices, herbs, liquorice, malt, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices, herbs, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

bottle at yespr clear yellow, small white head. aroma is malty, mild. flavor is slightly citussy, yellow fruity, not really a saison.

75 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow, no head. Aroma is toasted malty, light fruity phenolic. Sweet, fruity, mild peachy and slight estery to phenolic. Mild citric and fruity fqr finish.

Bottle shared with Adam of Somalia and Taylor. Crystal clear. Golden yellow color, white head. Aroma of lightly funky straw. Taste is light straw and lemon, little funk. Fair.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Flavor seems rather white grape with some earth. Cider aspect. A bit of sour. Slightly astringent. Nice saison.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a murky dark yellow orange appearance with a cream colored head. Peppery, green herbal, bready, coriander, grassy, orange citrusy aroma. Fairly refreshing, lightly tart, orange/tangerine citrusy, light mango, bready yeasty flavor. Easy to drink. Probably would be fun to beer bong if given the opportunity.

Bottle. Pours gold with white head. Nose and taste of yeast, apple, herbs and mixed fruit cup. Medium body.

Bouteille 750ml. De couleur dorée et voilée. Nez de levures fruitées (agrumes douces, léger de pommes vertes, notes de pêches) aux notes épicées (coriandre), moyen-léger de houblon floral et herbeux, léger d’herbes fraîches et de céréales fraîches avec des notes rustiques. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et très légèrement croustillant ainsi qu’une texture aux notes crémeuses. Goût de levures fruitées (moyen d’agrumes, léger de pommes, notes de pêches), légèrement épicées (coriandre, traces de poivre doux) et aux notes terreuses et rustiques accompagné d’un moyen-léger goût provenant d’un bouquet d’herbes fraîches aromatiques lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un léger goût de céréales fraîches avec des notes de pain puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume asséchante de houblon herbeux (herbes fraîches) aux notes florales. POst-goût moyen et aux notes sèches, composé d’un goût de levures légèrement fruitées (agrumes aux petites notes acides) et aux faibles notes épicées ainsi qu’avec une légère amertume de houblon herbeux.

750ml bottle at Brothers in Ottawa Aroma: Wet grass mainly with some other different herbs. Appearance: Blurred, almost no head, big bubbles, no lacing but sticking well on glass forming nice legs all around with tiny bubbles of lacing. Never seen that. Taste: Slightly acid and sour. Herbs and grass are coming back on a slightly malty bottom.. That sour and acid taste is reminding me a lambic or a start of a lambic. And it happens that I do not like them.

Smells a little musky and yeasty. Aroma has lots of fruitniness, herbes-hard to say what exactly but it makes for a great drink. There’s a decent amount of citrus taste here as well. Good lacing, pours golden clear. Taste has a little sourness and some sweetness and leaves off very nice, very balanced. Another great saison from Hopfenstark.
