Double Mashed English-style Barley Wine Aged in Bourbon Barrels
This is a true Colossus of a beer. An English-style Barley Wine brewed with the finest English malts and hops, and double mashed to maximize flavor and texture. Aged for 17 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels. The barrel aging gives complex notes of vanilla, coconut and charred oak, which layers on top of the beer’s rich flavor profile of dark fruit, tobacco and chocolate.

Dark sweet toasted malty aroma and taste, with sweet molasses, toffee, fudge, dark dried fruit shred, nice spices, full bodied, lovely bourbon flooding in with chimes of vanilla and coconut, spiced warming malty finish. Gorgeous BW from these guys again

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is caramel, some soy and mild rye with vanilla and some alcohol as well as dried fruity tones. Flavour is rye bread, mild syrup, some chocolate, lots of oak and vanilla with some roasted tones. Warming, but not burning. Nice one!

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose with vanillaish bourbon. Sweet with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Firm malt base with dark bread and caramel. Some leaves, lots of vanillaish bourbon. Warming bitter finish.

33cl Can. HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours Black with a small beige head. Depth en masse. Chocolate, vanilla, Wood and bourbon. Dark fruit. Super slick and vinous with a pleasant warmth from alcohol. Super Lovely and perhaps better than the 2022 version.
