Tap at Takadanobaba. Aroma is pleasantly yeasty and lightly sweet. Berry fruitiness. Taste is good, sweetness again, but more maltiness. Decent.

Poured at Shelton Festival, hazy orange with medium frothy white head. The aroma is floral and yeast. Thck body, yeast, earth, light dry finish, very good.

Draft - Malty caramel and butterscotch. Clearish gold with a small head. Lots of grainy notes, Ishtar butterscotch and a grainy bitter finish.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hops, straw, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at Erzbierschof Zurich. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is strongly malty, light grass and pine, quite bocky. Body is medium, sweet, with a low carbonation. Earthy, minerals, malty. Long sweet palate. Very, very good!

Vom Faß im GLB #45, Peking. - Tiefes Goldgelb, das ins Orangefarbene spielt; leicht trüb. - Intensive, bocktypisch breite Hellmalzsüße, an Kaugummi erinnernde, ein klein wenig künstliche Bonbonaromen; dazu kräftige krautige Herbe, die mit der Malzsüße ringt. Kräuterbonbons, Fenchel. Breit vollmundig. - Hier wurde weder an Malz noch an Hopfen gespart, aber das Ergebnis ist einfach zu unrund: zu intensive Malzsüße im Streit mit krautiger Bittere. Draft @ CBC 2015. Pours a clear yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak bready aroma. Fruity malty grainy caramel flavor with weak grassy hints. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Bottle. Hazy gold with a cream head. Bready aroma with light floral and vanilla notes. Fairly sweet and cleaner than expected from the aroma. Gentle bitterness. Creamy texture. Not a thriller but typically classy.
