(Can 50 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with a small, white head. Odd, sulphurous aroma. Light and watery body. Weak notes of caramel and brewing cereal. No real bitterness. 211006

An orange beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet matly with light notes of both caramel and alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of caramel, and a thin body. Too simple.

Quite ordinary norwegian middle of the road pils. The Christmas tree on the can gives a hint of something else, this is not the case in this beer. Short finish.

Golden colour. Tasting close to a norwegian pils, not a Christmas beer. Compared to a pils, not bad, neither good.

500 ml can. Deep golden colour, moderate head. A fairly decent standard pale lager with some caramel added, but without the typical Grans offensive side-flavours and metallicness. Not a typical Norwegian juleøl (it is not intended to be), but fairly drinkable, and a good choice for the lager louts who think that a standard juleøl / julebrygg is "too dark" (sic).

Can. The beer is golden with a small, dense off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with dried fruits. The flavor reminede me a little bit of a belgo-ale, only it is weaker. Quite sweet. Light/medium, sticky mouthfeel. Bittersweet finish. The typical metallic Grans-flavor is not present in this one. (051123)
