Pours pale yellow with a nice foam top. Not completely clear but still looking nice. Aroma is somewhat parfumy, I wonder about what were the hop varieties used. Taste is clean and crisp. Hops shine strongly and linger in aftertaste. Parfumy. Maybe a bit too parfumy for me, still liking it but probably won’t go for a second glass.

Draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki. Aroma is heavy with sweet fruitiness. Flavour has alcohol, sweet frutiiness and some mild minerals. Finishes with biscuity malts. Alcohol disturbs after some sips.

(Draught at Bryggeri Helsinki, 27 April 2016) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with bread, citrus and a touch of resin. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, resin, bready malt and a balanced citric/resiny bitterness. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well made, with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

Draught@HBF2016. Golden colour, huge creamy white head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some earth and mild sweet malts to it. Flavour is fruity, earthy, some wooden and mild grainy and sweet floral notes. Nice bittery sweet finish.

Bryggeri Helsinki. Keg. 7.0%. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Sweetish light malts, little creamy sweetness. Mild citric peel and semi sweet floralness. Trace of something tropical. Smooth finish. Nice Imperial Pils - most drinkable.

On tap at Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki. Hazy golden with a small, white head. Malty and surprisingly fruity aroma for a strong lager. Rather hoppy, with grassy notes, hints of honey and some earthy notes too. Surprisingly tasty for a strong lager. Somewhat sweet, but fairly balanced. Fairly mild flavours, but a rather noticeable bitterness. Tasty brew!

Tap at speakeasy. Pours orange with whiteish head. The small head stays for some moments. Aroma is hoppy, grass, malt, sweetness, some citrus. Flavor is sweet and bitter, grass, malt. Finish is grassy-dry bitter with touch of alcohol. Overall: i’m surprised how much i like this. It doesn’t rely just on over hopping like many craft lagers. Draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki. Pours golden orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of grassy hops, hay, sweetish notes, bready malts and grainy notes. Taste is sweet, hoppy and grassy with some lemon, earthiness, hay and bready maltiness. Finish is crisp, sweetish and malty with some dry bitterness, hay, lemon, grass and earthy notes. Okay, a bit easy going. Was expecting some more hoppiness.
