Fra flaske på årets siste Mi2, Cardinal: gylden med hvitt skum. Aroma og smak av gress, løvetann og lyse bær (stikkelsbær?). Halvtørr, med moderat bitter avslutning. Må prøves igjen.

330 ml bottle, at Mandag i Annen, will soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch 23. ABV is 5.2%. Organic. Deep golden to brown colour, moderate white head. Very moderate aroma, hints of green apples and yeast. Malts, yeast and green apples in the flavour too, probably fermented at too high temperature, and not matured long enough. Room for improvement here.

Brygg no 23. Dark orange in colour. Caramel, fruit and apples in aroma. Some hops in taste. Slightly waterish mouthfeel. Room for improvement.

Bottle 330ml (Batch #23) @ Café Dublin, Trondheim
Pours clear copper with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, floral, grass, yeast and a hint of cocoa and fruitiness. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, grassy and yeasty finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, at Cafe Dublin, batch 23. A hazy amber beer with an amber hue. A small off-white head on top. The aroma and flavor both have some yeast, could easily do without that. Some caramel, a generic fruityness and some piney notes in the aroma. There’s a faint cocoa touch on the palate, it’s quite bitter, and with a pleasant carbonation. Full to medium body, quite dry. Lasting finish with a decent bitterness. There’s cocoa, some bread, grass and a generic fruityness too. Some herbal notes. Overall, a bit yeasty, especially in the aroma, but besides that it’s a fine brew. 140622
