500 ml bottle, batch 333, from Helgø Meny Maxi, Sandnes. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy brownish golden colour, large white head. Aroma of citrussy hops and wood, the woody notes might be a sign of an infection. Very dry and woody flavour, some citrussy hops, but there is little doubt that an infection is blooming here. This batch should never have been on the market. The least successful beer I've had from Lysefjorden Mikrobryggeri so far. Waste of money.

Bottle contributed by and shared with OE at OSB 19.10.16. Paale chestnut. Foamy and persistent beige head and lacing. Fruity and refreshing aroma, with pale malt, citrus and lychee. Similar taste, with medium low bitterness. Decent drinkability. Slightly fizzy carbonation.

Bottle. Lots of floaties in a mostly clear dark golden body. Dense, off-white head leaving lacing. Rather weak aroma, mostly on the malty side, bread and caramel, with hint of dried fruits. Some grassy, piney hints. It’s medium bodied, semi dry and nicely carbonated, with a decent bitterness. Caramel, bread and piney bitterness in the finish. A decent beer, rather boring, but that’s just like expected considering the style. 160904

500 ml bottle. Unclear dark golden body with a fading medium sized off-white head. Quite mild aroma, light biscuit malt, hint of citric fruit and yeast. Flavor is medium sweet, mild pale malt, light citric fruit, low bitterness, yeast and hint of acidity. Medium body and moderate in aftertaste. No faults, but rather bland and dull with a bit too much yeast flavor.
