Inspired by flavors and ingredients found in tiramisu, including ladyfingers, 9 Ladies Dancing mimics the Italian dessert by whipping together flavor combinations and layers of its own. This includes notes of vanilla, chocolate and coffee - clearly the leading ladies in this rich ale.

75 cl bottle, Bottled 2016 acc. to well hidden stamp etched into bottle. Tasted feb. 2024 super solid aroma somewhere betweeen a brown ale and a quad, deep malty boozy nutty with a bit of dried dark fruits, a little bit of dough as if it was a pastry stout, also some yeasty notes. Flavor is a bit the same, brown alei'sh with some faint dark dried fruity notes, yeasty notes (belgian) , some undefined sweetness, very mellow and well blended, could be the aging kicking in, a good belgian sipper, however, some of the flavors are a bit too pastry like to make it a real belgian quad, where more of the flavors are from yeast and malts and the fermentation. Pretty good, hours of entertainment and enjoyment and adventure in this 75cl bottle, pair with cheese or just enjoy it as it is.

Sweet, boozy, malty, some roasty coffee. A bit bitter. Not bad.

750mL bottle, pours a clear medium brown with a small beige head. Aroma is full of lactose — why would you put this in a Belgian strong? — with subdued earthy coffee and estery notes. Flavour is chaotic and messy, with coffee, lactose, sour fruits, and earthiness. Absolute mess.

Bottle 750ml @ My parent's place
Pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, cocoa, caramel, vanilla and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, cocoa, caramel and vanilla finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

THT October. Thanks RandomStrangerNL! Clear brown with offwhite head. Sweet roasted malts, green coffee berry, chocolate, nutty, chipolata. Moderate sweet and bitter, light sour. Over medium body & soft carbonation. Tastes not working very well together.
