Inspired by flavors and ingredients found in tiramisu, including ladyfingers, 9 Ladies Dancing mimics the Italian dessert by whipping together flavor combinations and layers of its own. This includes notes of vanilla, chocolate and coffee - clearly the leading ladies in this rich ale.

Bottle at THT October. Thanks to RandomStrangerNL. Clear brown with offwhite head. Sweet roasted malts, green coffee berry, chocolate, nutty, chipolata. Moderate sweet and bitter, light sour. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Tastes not working very well together.

5 3 7 3 13Bottle shared at THT October. Clear brown with a tan head. Aroma of over cooked veggies like my Nan used to make (bless her), really vegetal coffee, caramel and cacao. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at tasting. Aroma of creamy chocolate, cacao, vanilla, spices and malt. Taste has smooth caramelised malt, chocolate, figs, tiramisu, mild spice and a malty finish. Nice dessert brown ale.

75CL. It's a dark brown appearance in the glass. fairly opaque against the light with some reddish brown appearance. 2 finger coffee tan head, sticky head. the aroma is solid. Very dry, some old moldy coffee lending a spicy aroma. hints of vanilla. graham cracker, cracked pepper, vanilla, toffee, nougat, coconut. very dry, lingering flavor is just stale water.

Bottle from the RS. Good carbonation on the swirl of the snifter, deep brown color. Aroma is chipotle pepper, old coffee, chocolate candy. Seems like the coffee is starting to turn to peppers. Still the sweetness mellows it out.
The chocolate and vanilla sweetness are still pretty decent. If you have a bottle don't hold it any longer, open now. May not last to much longer.

Bottle @ Bruery Bonanza 2017. Reddish brown pour with a frothy offwhite head. Pears, almonds, cookies & glue in the nose. Light hay & honey. Sweet & yeasty fruity taste. Round & very tiny tart mouth. Pointless...

Capped 750 from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours medium dark brown with a light tan head. Aroma of raisins, chocolate and an unusual coffee. Med + body. It is not at all dry. It is not at all bitter. For me it's mostly chocolate and raisins with some coffee tagging along. Interesting stuff.
