Bottle from Wijn & Whiskyhuis Nijverdal. Aroma is brown malt with caramel and toffee, not much more to it. Flavour is medium sweet with a light bitterness. Body is under medium with a thin feel. Overall fairly thin and dull, gets a bit better as it warms up.

Cloudy brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have some fairly sweet malt notes. Caramel is evident giving a Mars Bar feel.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierwinkel Alkmaar', best before August 2020. Almost clear, dark ruby with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, brown sugar and raisins. Quite sweet, malty, a bit fruity taste of caramel, brown sugar, raisins and some prunes, followed by a short, minimally bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and minimally effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Rather one-dimensional and way too sweet Bock.

Bottle at THT October. Hazy amber with offwhite head. Sweet malts, caramel, tea, old leaves, watery. Moderate sweet and bitter. Under medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared at THT. Almost clear reddish brown with beige head. Light tea, dead leaves, soft grains, earthy, soft rye. Just medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with watery feel.

Bottle. Color: Ruby to copper, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, caramel. Taste: Malt, sweetish, caramel and notes of molasses. Light bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Another pretty flat and sweetish, in the middle of the road caramel bock. Ok, but does not stand out positively or negatively.
