Larvik Mikrobryggeri 041215. Red amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is sourness, yeast, malt, hop, spices. flavour is sourness, yeast, malt, hop, sugar, pine, herbs, dried fruits, caramel. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

On tap at the brewpub. 7.2%. A reddish brown beer with a small dense beige head. Some curtains. Dried fruits, ginger, cardamom, caramel and something perfumed in the aroma. The flavor is pretty much the same, with an added herbal bitterness. Full to medium body and a very soft carbonation. Long finish. Drinkable, obviously made with good intentions, but not very successful. 151204

Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is kind of strange fruity, weeds, leafs, yeast, pepper corn, almond cake, caramel malts, dried fruits, paper, nuts. Taste is sour-ish grassy, weeds, sour grass, pepper corn, spices, sorrel, sour caramel malts. Little bitterness, sour-ish mouthfeel. Drainpour!

Rødbrun farge og uten skum. Minner om en juleøl jeg selv har brygget som ble mislykket. Virker som denne er infisert. Smaker som en tam surøl.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy brown colour, low off-white head of poor retention. Low carbonation. Sourish spicy and metallic aoma, hints of honey. Spicy flavour, notes of anise and cloves, a hint of honey, but not sweet. Minimal hops. Some fruity acidity. Thin body for its strength. No masterpiece, but drinkable.

Fra flaske på Cardinal, DSJT nov-14: uklar kobberfarge, og kveldens korteste skum. Uinteressant krydret syrlighet. Honnningen som skal være tilsatt merker jeg ikke. Tynne saker, kjennes uferdig.

From bottle at Larvik Mikrobryggeri 04.11.14 with KL. Unclear dark amber. Beige head quickly disappearing to nothing. No lacing. Aroma and taste of star anis and cloves. One-dimensional. Some malt sourness. Flat.
