Mørk lager krydra med fjellkvann, ein bittersøt og aromatisk urt som i lange tider har vore ei viktig krydder- og medisinplante. Fjellkvann (kvanne, kvannegras, erkeengelurt) veks høgt til fjells. Etter sagaen var kvann beskytta ved lov på Island for meir enn tusen år sidan. Fjellkvann er næringsrik og brukt både som medisin og som kosttilskot og krydder i mat og drikke.

5-3-6-4-12 Bottle, #0345, 13 months before bbd. Pours clear mahogany, with a small creamy head. Aroma is malts with bread and caramels, as well as notes of berries. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is malty notes of bread and caramels, as well as juniper and herbal notes.

Lovely chestnut color in the glass. And a fine tan head Ok lacing. Looks nice and inviting Fine intensity in the aroma A bit high carbonation level. Fizzy mouth feeling Balanced sweetness Caramel malty, herbal, some roast and bready flavor Decent character, but they could have used some more Fjellkvann to make it more prominent in the flavor. Mahognifarget klar med beige skum. Lukter brent karamell og tang. Lett. Søt. Lett bitter brent smak, søt brunt sukker, ristet brød og krydder. Middels lang.

KØLF 060919. Golden-amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hay. Flavor is fruit, malt, hay, apple, herbs, bread, spices. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. Clear amber body with a small tan head. Aroma has malt, grain, some caramel and a faint hint of herbals. Flavor is medium sweet malt, biscuit, grain, some herbs and low bitterness. Medium body and a bit short in aftertaste. Kind of interesting, but it didn't really catch my interes. Was expecting more from the herbal part.

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, amber in color and with a small offwhite head. Malty, bready aroma with a very pleasant herb note. Damp forest and a touch of very lightly roasted malts. It's medium bodied, soft and smooth on the palate, with a very light herbal bitterness. Bread, caramel, some roasted malts and a light touch of herbs. Peppery notes too. Lasting finish with a nice herbal, peppery touch. Interesting. 190817

0,5 flaske, delt med Gunnar og Bryne på Den store sommersmakingen juli-18: nesten helt klar rødlig kobber med fint skum. Deilig, urtepretget aroma og smak med pors, kvann, tyttebær/krøkebær og lyng. god balanse og fin maltkropp. Urter og bær i den halvtørre avslutningen. En original og meget lettdrikkelig øl.
