Can. Dark brown, almost black body with a creamy beige head. Aroma of dark, toasted malt, coffee and hint of smoke. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, moderate roasted, toast, dry fruit, coffee and light bitterness. Quite thin body as expected from the low ABV and medium aftertaste. A fine sample of a not very common style to see brewed in Norway. Close to the traditionally British mild style, very smooth and easy drinkable with a pleasant roasted finish. Well made.

Can 330ml @ Gunnfryd
Pours hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, chocolate, fusel, perfumed and hint of pine. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long perfumed, caramel and light chocolate finish. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Can. A gusher, producing a big, collapsing beige head over a clear dark reddish brown body. The aroma is a tad yeasty, with licorice, perfume, pine cones, orange zest and some roasted, burnt malts. It's sort of alcoholic, both on the nose and in the flavor, with roasted malts, licorice, pine cones and a burnt touch. Sort of perfumed in the flavor too. Full to medium body, nice carbonation. Long roasted, alcoholic finish. Interesting, but messy. 190406

330 ml can, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. ABV is 3.5%. Slightly gushing can, overcarbonated. Very dark reddish brown colour, huge off-white to beige head, takes \"forever\" to settle. Aroma of moderately roast malts, toast, brown bread, dark chocolate, mild coffee, also notes of piney hops. The flavour is medium dry, with a soft roast character. Slight fruit and chocolate. Very moderate piney hops. Nice to get a genuine dark mild from a Norwegian brewery.

30.09.2018, 0,33l can @ hotel room Aalborg:
Nice fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, wet hops, minerals, grass, strawberry jam, roasted grain, paper, moss, leafs, pine needles, dark malts. Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, soil, old leafs, paper, dark malts, wet hops, grass, toast. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. So boring.
