Clear, reddish beer with a decent bubbly head. Sweet, spicy aroma. Flavour is richy, fruity and malty with a touch of toffee and a surprisingly gentle finish. There’s almost a wine-like quality to the aftertaste. Very drinkable.

Crystal clear deep amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Smooth lights malts, trace of caramel. Light dried fruits. Mild floral bitterness. Light finish. Fine but I want more from an Old Ale.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear dark amber color, small off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts and a bit sweaty. Taste malts, a bit sweet, lightly caramel, slightly raisins. Average body, average carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear copper colour with a small to medium sized off-white head. Smells like horrible smelly cheese, sweaty, tuinbonen. Tastes sweet, malts, hint of caramel. Tastes better than one would expect from the smell. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Bottle. Clear amber/brown body with a thin off-white head. Fine carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, brown bread, wood and dirt. Flavour of earth, nuts, peppery biscuit, sweet tea and copper. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Subtle and very easy to drink.

Nose is malt and sweet, slight treacle, a little leather; nice but without depth. Taste is treacle, hazelnuts, a tiny bit of smoke and roast, leading to a woody, nutty, tacky finish. Mouthfeel is a bit slick. A decent beer, but a little underwhelming.

helder caramel bruin/rood met minimale witte kraag. Met matige zoetigheid, redelijk bitter, matig sterk, matig gemout, redelijk kruidig, medium en ietwat waterige body, dun van textuur. Botella de 50 cl en casa ya hace montón de años. No recuerdo pues todos los matices aunque no fue algo muy destacable.
