0,33 flaske delt med fhv. skibsreder, romjulsrating på Bjørnøy: åpning med futt. Lett uklar kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Hint av furunål, gressløk og andre urter. Litt overkarbonert. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen, men helhetsinntrykket er slapt og uten interesse for denne ganen.

Bottle. A massive off-white head forms over a hazy deep golden to amber body. Mostly malty aroma, with bread, toffee and a touch of yeast. Some fruityness too, pine cones and grass chiming in. It's medium to full-bodied, a bit heavy on carbonation, and quite dry, with a distinct bitterness. Mostly malty flavor too, bread, caramel and some hints of prunes. As in the aroma, the hops are far from abundant. Some piney and grassy notes in the back. Malt driven finish too. Not much of an American Pale Ale, but sure drinkable. 200613
