Pan Zlatni (Gold) is a premium lager with a unique history. It has a golden colour, dense foam and a rich flavour, providing you with the ultimate beer experience. It owes its subtle bitterness to the special hops varieties that are grown in Croatia and used for the brewing of this beer.

500ml bottle. Solid croatian lager, but not something extra. Sweet and medium carbonation. It’s not bad, but it’s really boring beer. It’s only good to make you not thirsty.

Thanks to ogivledo for this one. Can looks simple but good. Beer in the glass a bit darker than ecspected, huge head. Starts malty-moldy, quite dry, a bit sourish. Finish quite unbalanced, hard-dry, not very drinkable. Not my favourite.

Canned from random Croatian petrol station. Clear golden, airy head. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with sterile lifeless mouthfeel. Some overripe fruits, almost no bitterness. Decidedly non-refreshing but just somehwat unpleasant.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge but collapsing white head. The aroma has notes of metal, caramel, alcohol, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol of malt, caramel, and alcohol inspite of the only 5% ABV. Quite simple. Thanks faroeviking for sharing.

03/09/2010 - 50cl bottle @ Podravkin rekreacijski centar, Reka

Clear golden yellow to orange beer, creamy adhesive white head. Very distinctive aroma of marihuana (the hops of course). Taste is a very little malty, sweet, some hops. Aftertaste same sweetness and a little hop. Not very interesting, not really bad either.
