Bottle, 150cl. It's a clear, sparkling pale golden colored cider, headless, but with some white bubbles on top. The aroma is mellow and apple driven, with some grassy hints and apple cellar. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and faintly sour, with apple dominating the flavor. Some apple cores, grass and alcohol too. Lasting finish. A very smooth and delicious one, but I was expecting more complexity. Dangerously easy drinkable. 211231

Shared at RB/HD at Vatlandsvåg 14.07.18. Clear golden. Diminishing head. Fine aroma and taste of fresh apples and Champagne. Moderate apple bitterness. Champagne-like fizzyness. Refreshing, but not very complex.

1500 ml magnum bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Gusher bottle. Sparkling, pale golden colour. Aroma and flavour of eating apples, hints of oak and sulphites. The aroma has also notes of leather. Medium sweet.

1,75 flaske (2016-årgangen), delt som aperitif før vi starter for alvor, på Sigmunds hytte i Vatlandsvåg juli-18: champagnesmell etterfølges av en klar gylden væske med kort bruseskum. Vi skjenker i glassene og skåler for en fin RBHD-samling i Vatlandsvåg! God aroma og intens smak av friske Hardangerepler. Champagneaktig munnfølelse avslutter med en lekker, halvtørr fruktighet. Kan være vanedannende i møblerte hjem.

Bottle, 2014, shared with BBGTC. Pours a clear, very light yellow, with a small bubbly head. Aroma is sweet apples, with some light whiffs of fruit peel and wood. Medium body, with fizzy carbonation. Flavour is dry yeast, apples and notes of fruit peel and wooden barrels. Refreshing.

Nice fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh fruity, Aroma and Gravenstein apples, hay, apple peel, grass, minerals, hints of sorrel. Taste is sour-ish dry mineraly, apple peel, minerals, sour apples, apple cores, grass, hay, alcohol, yeast. Medium bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice.
