Bottle. With Idar and Mari at their place 23.12.25. Ebony. Not much head. Fine aroma and taste of sweet dark malt, cough medicine and some bitterness. Good! Low carbonation.

Bottle at home. Opaque dark brown to black color, small beige head. Aroma and flavor are malts, soft barrel notes, some spices perhaps. Warming. There's more there but I can't get my finger on it. Solid pleasant beer.

0.33 l bottle from 'SpeciaalBierPakket.nl', bottled in March 2023. Black with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, rather vinous-fruity, slightly yeasty aroma of molasses, prunes, raisins, red wine and some marzipan. Rather sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite vinous-fruity, gently boozy, moderately roasty and slightly yeasty taste of molasses, caramel, prunes, raisins, chocolate, licorice root, some clove and a touch of marzipan, followed by a long, gently bitter, fairly boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Moreish beer, great mix of roast and vinous flavours, just a bit too boozy. Good one!

Tap @Taphouse. Nearly black red brown, lasting creamy beige head. Dried fruit, toffee aroma, some vinous solvent notes, a little sweet licorice. Boozy dried fruit and caramely flavour, sweet licorice again, some tobacco. Finishes with a rather sharp alcoholic edge.
